Businessman’s son kidnapped
SUKKUR, July 30: Armed bandits kidnapped Awais Shaikh, son of Islam Shaikh, the city’s business magnate, late on Saturday night, causing a lot of worries in the business community.
Mr Shaikh alias Nosha told Dawn that a group of armed bandits stopped his son near the fire brigade office when he was returning home with a bag full of Rs150,000 after closing his shop, and whisked him away in a car already parked nearby.—Correspondent
