KARACH, July 28: Eight vessels carrying sugar, containers and rock phosphate are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, including three tankers were berthed. They are: Stolt Azaleam, Fortitude and Team Leopard, to load ethanol and unload chemicals, MOL Asante, Cape Santiago and Kota Tabah, with containers and Palesea, with general cargo.

Six ships, Hyundai Sprinter, Y.M. Mondego, Satha Bhum, Infinit, Al-Marwah and Oonis departed on Friday, while Stolt Azalea, Cape Samtiago, Fortitude, Palesea, Qin Hai, MOL Asante, Man Pung and Kota Tabah are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 82,826 tons comprising 13,894 tons of export cargo and 68,932 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Ikan Selar, with 21,000 tons of sugar, Maersk Radinat, to load 7,500 tons of molasses, Mach Aandresew

Swala, Conti Harmony, Yang Jiang He, with containers, Multan with 15,000 tons of rock phosphate, Malakand, with general cargo and Swift, with steel bars.
