Malik consults PCB doctor

By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, July 27: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday said Shoaib Malik's elbow injury would be examined on a weekly basis.

Malik, who was forced to return home from England before the first Test at Lord’s because of an injured elbow, met PCB specialist Dr Meesaq Rizvi on Thursday for advice.

"There is some swelling on the elbow which was operated upon in South Africa this year. Malik will again consult me after a week,” said Meesaq. The doctor added that Malik could be allowed to bat after the next visit, but he would not be permitted to bowl or throw.
