KARACHI, July 27: The University of Karachi on Thursday notified that the annual exams 2006 of LLB (final) will commence from August 10.
Candidates of the affiliated law colleges can collect their admit card and examination programme from their respective colleges, it further stated.
BDS: The KU notified the schedule for first professional BDS supplementary exams 2006. A total of 70 candidates are appearing in the exams commencing from August 8. The examination centre will be KU’s social work department while the timings are 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
According to the schedule, Anatomy paper will be held on Aug 8, Physiology on 7th, Chemistry of Dental Materials on 9th, Biochemistry on 11th and Islamiat/Pak Studies on 15th.
RESULTS: The KU also announced the results of BS physiotherapy (third and fourth years) annual exams 2005 and first professional (part-A and B) MBBS supplementary exams 2006.According to statistics, 79 out total 85 candidates appeared in BS physiotherapy (third year) exams were declared passed and six failed.
In BS physiotherapy (fourth year), 71 out of 77 students appeared in the exams were declared passed and six failed.
In MBBS first professional (part-A) supplementary exams 21 candidates appeared and 19 were declared successful. While, in MBBS first professional (part-B) supplementary exams seven candidates out the total of 11 passed the exams.—PPI
