QUETTA, July 26: Mastung Cadet College Principal Wing Commander (retired) Mian Maqbool Ahmed Rehbar was gunned down on Wednesday in his official residence in Mastung, some 50 km of here.

Sources said that the principal was sitting in the lawn with his wife when a man wearing veil entered into the bungalow through the main gate at around 10.30pm and opened fired.

“The killer fired eight bullets which hit the principal and he died on the spot,” the IGP said.

The principal’s children and security guards rushed him to the Mastung civil hospital where doctors confirmed his death.
