KARACHI, July 25: A jobless man jumped off the Native Jetty bridge to commit suicide here on Tuesday. Police said that Shakeel, 40, took the extreme action after remaining jobless for long. The body of Shakeel, a resident of Lyari, was fished out and sent to a hospital for autopsy.
DIES: A 12-year-old boy sustained fatal injury when a security guard’s gun went off accidentally in Orangi Town on Tuesday.
Police said that the gun of security guard Usman, who was posted at a petrol station, went off accidentally and a bullet hit the boy passing by the station. Police have arrested the security guard.
