Kamal, Saud excel

KARACHI, July 24: Good batting by Kamal Hussain and Saud Khan enabled Meezan Bank defeat Dubai Investment Bank (DIB) by 68 runs in the 5th AKU Rehabilitation & Sports Centre cricket tournament on Sunday.

Kamal (65 with four fours, two sixes) and Saud (57 with nine fours) helped Meezan reach 222 for six in 25 overs.

DIB, in reply, were bowled out for 154 in the 22nd over.

MEEZAN BANK 222-6 in 25 overs (Kamal Hussain 65, Saud Khan 57, Mohammad Ismail 21; Furqan Anwar 3-32, M.A. Mannan 2-42); DIB 154 in 21.3 overs (Ammar Zaidi 40, Shiraz 23; Faisal 2-23, Saud Khan 2-27, Kashif Aziz 2-33, Mohammad Ismail 2-45).
