Ghafoor claims three medals
LAHORE, July 24: Abdullah Ghafoor claimed three silver medals for Pakistan in the Asian junior weightlifting championship in Gunsan, South Korea.
He earned medals in 56kg in snatch, 122kg in clean and jerk and a total of 217kg for getting the three medals. Pakistan fielded their lifters in 56 and 105kg competitions.
The competition in 105kg is scheduled to be held on Tuesday.
