Chinese team visits PQ

KARACHI, July 24: A 10-member Chinese delegation during a visit to Port Qasim on Monday showed keen interest in the upcoming projects being under taken by the port.

The Economic Cooperation Group (ECG) delegation led by Ziiao Qingmao, commercial counsellor, was given a detailed presentation about the port, its facilities and ongoing and future projects. They were also briefed about industrial zone of the port.

Port Qasim Authority Chairman Vice-Admiral M. Asad Qureshi invited the Chinese delegation for participating in mega projects like cement clinker, coal terminal, second oil jetty and second IOC construction of flyovers and expansion of access road. They were also apprised of the deepening of navigational channel of the port.
