MIRPURKHAS, July 23: An all-party conference here on Sunday accused officials of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mirpur-khas of not giving jobs to Sindhi candidates.

All-Parties Action Committee convener Asghar Narejo presided over the meeting. The meeting decided to hold a demonstration in front of the BISE and observe a hunger strike for 10 days outside the Karachi press club in protest against its attitude.

The meeting condemned police failure to stop manufacturing and sale of gutka and mainpuri and narcotic business in the city and other towns of the district.

The meeting demanded that higher authorities should take notice of matter and ensure stoppage of sale and manufacturing of gutka, mainpuri and narcotic business in district.
