ISLAMABAD, July 22: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Saturday approved substantial increase in the non-practicing allowance of doctors serving in the federal government.
On a proposal submitted by the ministry of health, the Prime Minister has approved the enhancement from Rs500 per month to Rs4000 for doctors in BS-17 and BS-18 and from Rs700 to Rs6000 per month for doctors in BS-19 and BS-20.
