Boxing squad for SA Games

KARACHI, July 22: Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) on Saturday announced a 10-member team for Aug 18 to 28 South Asian Games in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

PBF said that boxers had been selected by Cuban coach Reinaldo Alvarez Ulacia. Ashraf Ali will officiate the bouts as referee and judge.

Squad: Light-flyweight Nisar Khan, flyweight Noman Kareem, bantamweight Abid Ali, featherweight Mehrullah, lightweight Asghar Ali Shah, light-welterweight Faisal Kareem, welterweight Dur Mohammad, middleweight Allah Bukhsh, light-heavyweight Tanveer Shaukat, super-heavyweight Mir Waiz.

Officials: Major Nasir (manager), Reinaldo Alvarez Ulacia, Julian Ricardo and Mohammad Tariq (coaches).
