KARACHI: Hamida defends ban


KARACHI, July 22: The Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy, Dr Hamida Khuhro said that the decision of imposing ban on unionism in educational institutes had been taken after long consultation at various levels, terming it in larger interest of the students.

In a press statement issued here on Saturday, the minister said that undoubtedly education in Sindh was deteriorating and among few other unionism/ associations in the system were some of the main reasons.—PPI
