KCCA schedule for trials announced

By Our Sports Reporter

KARACHI, July 21: Trials to pick seven KCCA’s zonal teams for the PCB Inter-district senior cricket tournament will be held on Saturday and Monday at the Pakistan Customs Cricket Academy.

The trials for zones 1, II and III are scheduled for Saturday while players of the remaining four zones will be conducted on Monday.

The Karachi City Cricket Association has formed a selection committee, headed by former Test cricketer Anwer Khan, with Ilyas Khan, Asim Rizvi and Iftikhar Ahmed as members.

Players under the age of 30 and who are registered with zonal clubs are eligible for the upcoming trials, the KCCA secretary Sirajul Islam Bukhari said on Friday.
