KARACHI, July 21: Nepal cricket team is due to arrive here next month for a three-match series against National Cricket Academy, a spokesman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Friday.

During their five-day stay, Nepal team will play two matches in Karachi and one Hyderabad in preparations for the ACC Trophy to be held at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia later next month.

After arriving in the city on Aug 5, the touring team will travel to Hyderabad next day and play their opening one-dayer against NCA on Aug 7.

The final two matches will be played in Karachi on Aug 9 at Quaid-i-Azam Park (Steel Township Ground) and on Aug 10 at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.

Nepal squad: Binod Kumar Das, Shakti Prasad, Paresh Prasad Gauchan, Paresh Prasad Lohani, Raju Basnyat, Sharad Vesaker, Kanishka Chaughai, Paras Khadka, Mahboob Alam, Rajkumar Pradhan, anjam Regmi, Basnat Regmi, Manoj Katuwal, Dhirendra Bahadur Chand, Gyanendra Malla, Mehesh Chettri, Amrit Bhattarai, Aksah Gupta, Vijay Thapa and Anitam Thapa.

Former Sri Lankan Test batsman Roy Luke Dias is the team coach with Jung Bahadur Thapa as his deputy.—APP
