PESHAWAR, July 18: The NWFP Minister for Information Asif Iqbal Daudzai said on Tuesday that the MMA government was fully aware of the problems and hardships and taking all possible measures within the available resources to resolve them.

Talking to a 16-member delegation of Maqsoodabad Peshawar, which called on him under the leadership of JUI Maqsoodabad’s Amir Sana Gul, General Secretary Dr Omardaraz and Qari Zakirullah, he said despite financial constrains the government’s good performance would certainly have an impact on the upcoming elections and result in MMA’s victory in the centre and also him provinces, he observed.

Mr Asif said that a women university and a degree college would be set up in Daudzai in the near future to meet educational needs of local people.

He assured the delegation that all the problems of Maqsoodabad, including the paving of streets, improving the drainage system, setting up a dispensary and a tubewell, would be resolved soon by allocating necessary funds for them.—PPI
