LAHORE, July 17: Fifteen people, including five women of rival groups, were arrested under the Anti-Terrorism Act by the police for scuffling on the Lahore High Court (LHC) premises.
Najma Shahzad and her husband Muhammad Shahzad appeared before the court of Justice Muhammad Bilal Khan in a love marriage case, seeking quashment of an FIR registered against them.
As they left the court room when the hearing was over, they started thrashing each other. They were apprehended by the LHC security staff who handed them over to the Old Anarkali police.
Minimum punishment for such a behaviour on the court premises is 10 years jail. —APP
