‘Another commander surrenders’

QUETTA, July 17: Another top commander of Nawab Akbar Bugti’s militia, Wadera Ghulam Mohammad Jujrani, and his 20 armed men surrendered to the government on Monday, according to DCO Dera Bugti Abdul Samad Lasi.

He termed Jujrani’s surrender a triumph of the government as he had been carrying out terrorist activities in the area for quite some time.

Mr Jujrani, he claimed, withdrew his support for Nawab Bugti after witnessing present government’s commitment to develop the province and bring prosperity, particularly in Dera Bugti and Kohlu districts.

Mr Lasi said majority of the people fighting against the government had been misguided by Nawab Akbar Bugti.—APP
