PESHAWAR, July 16: The Peshawar station of Pakistan Television has grabbed four awards in the in-house professional awards competition.

General Manager of the Peshawar Television Centre, Farmanullah Jan received an award for telecasting live programme ‘Chand Raat’ on children surviving the October earthquake in Balakot, while Alamzeb Aamir received an award for producing best regional programme. The award ceremony was held at the Lahore PTV centre, says a press release.

Make-up artiste Nasir Khan was adjudged as winner of the award in make up category for his brilliant makeup work in dram serial ‘Ankaboot’. Nawab Akhtar got a dedication award for technical assistance.

Meanwhile, a PTV contingent, led by producer Aziz Eijaz, left for Karachi to participate in the popular award ceremony.
