Relief goods distributed

PESHAWAR, July 15: The Frontier Corps (FC) distributed relief goods among victims of a flash flood in the Shawal area of the North Waziristan Agency, a press release said here on Saturday.

It said the flood caused damage in the Gurvek and Sarazghumi areas of the Shawal Valley this week and displaced a large number of people.

At least 13 tribesmen were killed in the flash flood that also raised the water level in River Toochi.

Apart from rescuing people to safer places, the FC also distributed a large quantity of food items, it said.
