PHF’s hunt for goalkeepers

KARACHI, July 11: Provincial headquarters of Pakistan Hockey Federation will hold camps as the federation has decided to discover and groom young goalkeepers in the country.

Hockey experts will supervise the camps and find talent in age brackets of under-14, 16 and 18.

Punjab Hockey Association will organise the camp at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore from July 20 to 30 while Sindh Hockey Association will hold the camp at Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium, Karachi from Aug 2-12.

Peshawar's Lala Ayub Stadium will host the camp for NWFP Hockey Association from July 25 to Aug 5 while Balochistan Hockey Association will hold the camp at General Musa Stadium in Quetta.

Selected goalies will be sent to Islamabad for final training.—PPI
