KARACHI: Probe ordered


KARACHI, July 11: Sindh Home Minister Rauf Siddiqi has taken notice of a report in which it was alleged that Rs5 million have been paid by mafia, running a gambling den in the juriusdiction of Eidgah police station, to get TPO Saddar Sanaullah Abbasi transferred.

The minister asked CCPO Karachi to inquire the report and he should be informed in writing as since how long the den is operative and who the operators were.

He asked the CCPO on whose recommendation, the ASP Garden was transferred; and called for a report of all kinds of crimes occurring in Saddar Town during the last six months.—APP
