Regional Academies

ISLAMABAD, July 10: Islamabad Regional Academy was declared open on Monday at the Diamond Cricket Ground. The academy has 20 under-19 players who will be coached by head coach Taimur Azam and coach-cum-trainer Amir Akbar.

There will be an analyst, and an English tutor for the players at the academy.

Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi Regional Academy also became operational at KRL Stadium on Monday.

In the absence of head coach Sabih Azhar, currently with the Pakistan A team touring Australia, Shahid Anwar will be the acting coach.
