By Our Correspondent

QUETTA, July 10: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement opposes the military operation in Balochistan and wants the issue resolved politically through negotiations. This was stated by MQM leader Shakir Ali, a member of the Sindh Assembly, while responding to questions at a press conference here on Monday.

Balochistan MQM organiser Waqar Baloch and Sindh MPAs Mohin Aamir Pirzada and Khalid Bin Walayat were also present.

Waqar Baloch said the party was struggling to abolish feudalism in the country to protect rights of the masses.

On this occasion, Akhtar Nurzai, Mahmood Nasar, Abdullah Ghilzai, Dad Mohammad Achakzai, Nasir Bungulzai, Syed Ghani Shah and Noor Ahmad Durani announced joining the MQM.
