During his five-hour long visit, Mustafa Kamal inspected the construction work of roads in Pak Colony and Orangi Town besides reviewing the progress of work on Nazimabad, Liaqautabad, Gharibabad underpasses and Hasan Square, National Stadium, Karsaz flyovers.

He also inspected the ongoing cleaning of drains and directed the officials concerned to deploy more machinery and manpower to speed up the work in view of expected rains.

He pointed out that it was the first time in the history of the metropolis that dozens of mega projects worth billions of rupees were being completed in the shortest possible time. This became possible because the work was carried out in three shifts and it was not stopped even for a single day.
