KARACHI, July 9: Sixteen Pakistanis injured in a bus accident in Iran were flown back here on Sunday.

A convoy of four buses carrying pilgrims from various localities of Karachi went to Iran for paying visits to sacred places and shrines. One of the buses overturned in Taftan province on its way back to Pakistan a couple of days ago. Huma Sajjad, a schoolteacher, died in the accident while 32 people suffered injuries, according to injured persons.

Sixteen injured, mostly women, arrived at the city here by a PIA flight. They were admitted to Zainul Abideen Hospital in Rizvia Society. These pilgrims were residents of Rizvia Society, Nazimabad, and other localities. The remaining injured persons would here in a day or two.
