Merit urged in appointments

By Our Correspondent

LAKKI MARWAT, July 8: Member of National Assembly and Provincial Amir of JUI(F) Maulana Amanullah Khan has asked the officials of Schools and Literacy Department (SLD) to ensure merit while recruiting teachers.

During a meeting with Executive District Officer Attaullah Khan Meenakhel at SLD office here on Saturday, Maulana Amanullah made it clear that in case merit was neglected, the provincial government would be asked to take strict action against the responsible department officials.

“The MMA-led government is committed to providing due rights to the people at their doorstep,” he said.
