LAHORE, July 7: Four matches will be played in four different cities on the opening day of the 6th Pakistan Football Federation Cup which starts from Monday.

In all, 15 teams are competing in the event and the top two teams will earn a berth in Pakistan Premier League.

The teams have been divided into four groups. The top two teams of Groups A,C and D and only the winners of Group-B will qualify for the next round.

Pakistan Public Works Department (PPWD) relegated from 2005 Premiership, with champions Sindh Government Press (SGP), Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), and Mauripur Baloch Club, Karachi are in Group-A.

Two teams of Baloch Clubs, one from Quetta and other from Nushki are placed in Group-B with Police.

Group-C comprises Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Pakistan Ordnance Factory (POF), Faisalabad's Punjab Medical College and NWFP's Bannu Red while Islamabad-based Group-D consists of Faisalabad's Panther , Pakistan Television (PTV), Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Dera Ismail Khan's Dera XI.

July 10: SSGC v SGP; Quetta's Baloch Club v Police; POF v PMC Faisalabad; Panther FC v PTV.

July 11: PPWD v Mauripur Baloch; Bannu Red v PAF; HEC v Dera XI.

July 12: Police v Nushki's Baloch Club.

July 13: SSGC v Mauripur Baloch; PAF v POF; Panther FC v Dera XI.

July 14: SGP v PPWD; Quetta's Baloch Club v Nushki's Baloch; HEC v PTV; PMC Faisalabad v Bannu Red.

July 15: Rest day

July 16: Mauripur Baloch v SGP; PAF v PMC Faisalabad; Panther FC v HEC.

July 17: SSGC v PPWD; POF v Bannu Red; PTV v Dera XI.
