PESHAWAR, July 7: Three brothers were killed when their rivals fired on them in the Surezai area near here on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Khan Bahadur, Anwer Shah and Gulab Shah, sons of Qalandar Khan.
The FIR of the triple murder was lodged by their relative, Qabil Shah, with the Bhadabher police under section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The complainant alleged that the brothers were working in their field when their rivals Noorul Haq, Fazal-i-Raziq and Fazal Shah, sons of Fazal Qadir, came there and started indiscriminate firing, killing the three brothers.
