KARACHI: 161 buildings declared dangerous


KARACHI, July 6: The technical committee of the KBCA for dangerous buildings has declared 161 buildings of the city as dangerous.

According to a report of the committee, 132 such buildings are situated in Saddar Town. Jamshed Town has 13 dangerous buildings, Lyari 11, Keamari 5 and Shah Faisal Town has one.

The KBCA has warned the residents of such buildings that these could meet any mishap during the monsoon rains and, therefore, be immediately vacated.—APP
