KARACHI, July 5: Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town will soon launch a campaign to control prices of daily use items. This was stated by Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town Nazim Muhammad Wasay Jalil while talking to officer-bearers of the Consumer Rights Committee and nazims of all union councils here on Wednesday.

He said that counters could be set up for the Consumer Rights Committee at the central compliant centre of the town. He said that media campaign would also be launched in the town against price hike and for promotion of consumer rights.

BALDIA: Baldia Town Nazim Kamran Akhtar has said that all problems of the people will be solved through expanding the network of development work across the town.

After completing the replacement of worn-out water and sewerage lines, work on CC flooring would be started side by side with construction of roads, he said during his visit to different sites of ongoing uplift projects in the town to examine their progress.

He said the development projects would be executed in each area of the town on equal basis and without any discrimination.

Kamran Akhtar directed all the contractors to complete the work at the earliest and present a progress report in this regard.TMO Ghulam Shabbir Jatoi, TO Infrastructure Waheed Loghi and other town officers were also present on the occasion.—PPI/APP
