Four electrocuted

MIRPURKHAS, June 30: Four people were electrocuted and two others suffered injuries in three different incidents on Friday.

Two employees of a company, Arshad and Nasir, were fixing a signboard on the newly-constructed car showroom of Lal Mohammed on the Hyderabad road when the signboard collided with 11kv electricity line and both suffered electric shock.

As a result, Arshad, 55, who belonged to Karachi, died on the spot while Nasir was injured.

Labour Mohammed Hussein, 26, resident of Bhansinghabad, sustained electric shock when he started water pumping machine in a nursary of the forest department. He died instantly.

Ali Nagar Banglani along with his friend Mohammed Yousuf was on his way to Mir Khalid Ji Landhi from Jhillori when their bike got entangled in live electric wires lying on the road. Banglani died and Yousuf was injured.

Javed Qaimkhani was electrocuted in his cell phone shop on the M.A.Jinnah road.—BoC
