KARACHI: Ibad invites special children


KARACHI, June 30: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad has called for collective efforts to make special people effective part of the society and appealed to business community and philanthropists to play their role.

He was speaking at a ceremony held at Governor's House on Friday to distribute hearing instrument among 50 hearing-impaired children. He also announced financial assistance of Rs10,000 each for these children.

Provincial health minister Shabbir Qaimkhani, secretaries and parents and teachers of special children attended the ceremony. Later, the governor distributed instruments among children and mingled with them.—PPI
