Apropos the story “Golf club deal shady, observes NA body”, published in our issue of May 19, 2006. M/s Maxcorp Development, Malaysia, have informed Dawn that the local company responsible for all rights and obligations for the development of the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club, Lahore, has no Malaysian connection as of February 15, 2003, and it cannot be termed a Malaysian consortium.
