KOHAT, June 29: The Kohat Cadet College grabbed top ten positions in the secondary school examination, according to the result announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Thursday.

The position holders and marks achieved by them are: Imran Qazi, 994; Zakir Ahmed Khan, 992; Nigar Hussain, 988; Mohib Khan, 986; Zeeshan Sattar, 985; Tariq Khan, 984; Shehzad Mahboob, 983; and Mohammad Zeeshan, 981.

The ninth position was shared by Asad Malik, Javed Iqbal and Mohmamad Naeem Orakzai with 980 marks each, while Mohammad Shahan Asif, Mohammad Omar Khan and Ziaur Rehman stood tenth by obtaining 978 marks each.

Among girls, Saira Naseem of St Joseph School, Shahdana of Iqra Public School and Gul Meena of St Joseph Convent School achieved first, second and third position with 938, 933 and 924 marks, respectively.

BISE chairman Sardar Mohammad Ayub said that in all 22,634 students had appeared in the exams out of which 14,725 were declared successful showing a pass percentage of 65.6.
