Two killed in Quetta

By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, June 29: Two persons were killed on Thursday in two different incidents. In the first incident armed men entered an electronic shop at Aianuddin street near Liaquat road and opened fire on one of the employees, Mushtaq, who died on the spot. The killers escaped. The reason behind the shooting could not be ascertained.

One Khurram Shahzad, working as goldsmith in a shop at Prince road, was found dead when the owner opened the shop on Thursday.

Police sources said that Khurram Shahzad was first hit in the head by a hammer and then his body was hanged.

The business community strongly condemned the killings and demanded that murderers should be arrested immediately.

Addressing a press conference, Markazi Anjaman-i-Tajran provincial president Abdul Rahim Kakar said that business community would observe complete shutter down strike on July 4, if killers were not arrested within five days.
