QUETTA, June 28: Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousuf has urged the people to shun differences and strive for the progress of the province. Speaking at the concluding session of the assembly after the passage of the budget for fiscal year 2006-07 late Tuesday night, the chief minister declared that those opposing development projects were not sincere with the people of the province.
He said tolerance and democratic thinking could pave way for securing the rights of the people of Balochistan.
He said that President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz were taking keen interest in the development of the province, and added that though the province was facing financial problems but hoped that with the assistance from federal government “we will over comes this issue”.
The chief minister assured the house that merit in the distribution of the development funds and discipline would be maintained to uphold justice.
