Two leaders refused UK visa

LAHORE, June 28: Two leaders of the Istiqlal Party, a component of the ARD, have been refused visas for the UK where they planned to go to participate in a meeting of the alliance on July 2.

Manzoor Gilani and Mian Irfan Akram said on Wednesday they had been discriminated against as leaders of other

ARD parties had been issued visas.

Meanwhile, JWP leader Senator Amanullah Kinrani was disallowed on Wednesday to proceed to London. He too was to participate in the ARD meeting.
