LAHORE, June 27: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has signed a three-month deal which will earn the board considerable money for allowing sponsors’ logo on team’s uniform, currently touring England.
PCB Director Operations, Saleem Altaf, said on Tuesday that it was purely a professional decision and now the board, like its other counterparts, would earn sufficient amount through the sponsorship.
Previously the PCB had been paying money to a company, which had not only been providing uniform to the entire Pakistan teams ('A', Juniors) for payment but also used its logo without any benefit to the board.
Saleem, who put up the case before the ad hoc committee and got its approval to change the sponsors, however, was not ready to disclose the amount the PCB would receive through the deal.
"It is confidential and I can not disclose the amount the PCB will earn," he said.
