KARACHI, June 26: After adjourning the Sindh Assembly session on Monday, Speaker Muzaffar Shah told journalists that he was not aware of any understanding having reached between the treasury and opposition sides regarding the time for commencement of the proceedings of the budget session. He said his concern was only to go to the house if the quorum was complete.

When asked why the opposition members present in the house had not been allowed to speak on their cut motions, the speaker cited the rules suggesting that only those movers could speak on their cut motions who would have notified their names to the assembly secretary two days before a discussion.
