Cellphone growth
LONDON, June 26: The mobile phone market across Western Europe is forecast to grow by 43.3 per cent by 2011, according to a study by telecoms research group Analysts, published on Monday.
Mobile services revenue across the region was forecast to grow at a compound average growth rate of 6.2 per cent annually to 198.4 billion euros ($249 billion) in 2011 compared with 138.4 billion euros in 2005, the British group said.
“Growth will primarily be driven by rich-media services including music and television,” it added.—AFP
