MIRAMSHAH, June 25: Three Frontier Constabulary men were injured when unidentified assailants opened fire on them near Banda checkpost, two kilometres from North Waziristan Agency headquarters, on Sunday, officials and witnesses said.
The FC personnel had come down from their mountain post to get water from a spring on the bank of River Tochi. As soon as they descended from the check-post, they were attacked with light weapons and were wounded.
