Two Lankan troops killed
COLOMBO, June 24: Two soldiers of the Sri Lankan army were shot dead in Vavuniya district while on a patrol. In a statement a military spokesman said the Tamil Tigers had carried out the attack.,
The incident followed a kidnapping of two teenagers allegedly by the LTTE in a village on Friday.
