KARACHI, June 23: Nazim of Gulshan Town Mohammad Wasay Jalil has requested the people affected by Lyari Expressway project to move to their alternative residence in Taiser Town where all basic facilities, wide roads, parks and schools were being made available.

He made the appeal while reviewing the existing facilities at Taiser Town during his visit on Friday.

Project Director of the Lyari Development Project Shafiqur Rahman Paracha informed him that apart from the modern civic facilities, there were 17 Hawkers’ Bazaars where the affected people could get stalls free of cost.

Regarding education facilities, he said that a total of 4,700 students were getting education in different schools of the town and were being provided uniform, books and shoes free of cost.

“The students are getting free medical facilities and vaccinated against Hepatitis-B,” he said.

Mr Paracha said that schools equipped with modern laboratories, libraries and playgrounds were also there.
