PESHAWAR, June 22: The federal minister of water and power has approved the setting up of a 132kv grid station in Tajazai in Lakki Marwat district and work on the project will start soon.
The decision was taken at a meeting between federal Minister for Water and Power Liaquat Jatoi and federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Salim Saifullah Khan here on Thursday.
According to a press release issued by the office of Mr Saifullah, Mr Jatoi will lay the foundation stone of the grid station.
During the meeting, it was decided that power and water- related problems of the southern districts of the NWFP would be solved as soon as possible and a comprehensive strategy would be chalked out in this connection.
