KARACHI: Property dispute settled

KARACHI, June 22: The Sindh Ombudsman, Yousuf Jamal, amicably settled a long standing property dispute of a family by reaching an agreement which was accepted by all concerned parties.

According to details, the widow of Rais Abdur Rehman (late) and her two sons had jointly bought a two-storey building in Block-F, North Nazimabad. She gifted her share to her four daughters.

As the KDA was approached in connection with the mutation, the officers concerned tried to take undue advantage of the situation by raising objections. A complaint in this regard was presented before the Sindh ombudsman.

The ownership of the plot was distributed equally among the three owners with the agreement of all parties.Mr Jamal ordered the DA of the city government to distribute the ownership rights individually among the rightful owners.—APP
