KARACHI, June 21: Five ships carrying chemicals, steel and general cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where 10 ships were berthed to unload and load containers and general cargo. They are: Hyderabad, Multan, Regine, to unload and load general cargo, Warbah, Swat, Majori, to unload crude oil, Oel Aishwarya, MOL Accord, Mol Kauri, and APL Jable Ali, to unload and load containers.

Sailing was also active as six ships, Iran Baabaei, Nikolaos-P, Batu, B.India, Liberty Eagle and Giorgos B, while Rizoun Trader, APL Jable Ali, Regine, MOL Accord, Maria-TL, Warbah Thor Captain, Iran Tabatabaei and Swat are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 0.127m tons comprising 18,428 tons of export cargo including 3,844 tons of rice and 0.109m tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Al-Marwah, with chemicals, Mac Aandresev Swala, Kota Wangsa, with container, Kang Yu and Antarios Breezse, with steel.
