BAGHDAD, June 19: Three members of a family were shot dead in the early hours of Monday by gunmen who stormed their home Madain town, south of Baghdad, police said. A woman, her son and daughter were sleeping when armed men stormed their home and shot them, police added.
Insurgent violence has surged in the past few weeks across Iraq with dozens of people dyi in bombings and shootings.—AFP
