FC to get more staff

PESHAWAR, June 19: The federal government will recruit 60 new platoons in the Frontier Constabulary (FC) and will also create anti-riot and ant-terrorist squads to enhance efficiency of the paramilitary force, said a handout on Monday.

The FC Commander Malik Naveed Khan here at a meeting informed senior officials that more contingents of the force would be deployed in southern district of the NWFP to affectively check lawlessness, drug trafficking and illegal trade of weapons.
