NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 19: A number of people receiving help from Baitul Maal funds took out a rally and staged a sit-in in in Moro against the post master and the in charge of Baitul Maal for his failure to pay the 11th instalments on Monday.

They included 30 old men and women who were led by Yousuf Solangi, Ishaque Lohar and Ms Kaz Bano.

They staged a sit-in opposite the Moro post office and blocked the road for half an hour.

They complained that they were getting Baitul Maal funds and had the books issued by the Baitul Maal office but now the post master was refusing to pay them 11th instalment and was insisting to get their books of Baitul Maal verified from the Baitul Maal office in Naushahro Feroze.

They said when they went to the Baitul Maal office they were referred back to the Moro post office.

They demanded of the higher authorities to intervene in the matter and release their instalment.

One Shaman Jatoi, driver of the car (AJP-337), was on his way to Moro that six armed men stopped him, tied his hands and feet with rope, threw him in the field, and drove away in his car after depriving him of mobile phone and cash.
